The teacher's reward... Here are some comments from e-mails and letters I've received from folks who have bought my book and are well on their way to becoming successful traders. A teacher's greatest reward is seeing his efforts inspire confidence and growth in the student. For these and similar expressions, I'm most grateful. "Thank you for an excellent manual. It's even fun to read. I never would have thought the stock market could be so much fun, and I could learn to trade. In fact, I didn't even know about trading. I only thought you invested in stocks." "I would never have believed that anything in the stock market could be this easy to understand. Thank you for sharing your experiences, for your encouragement and always being there offering to help me." "Mr. Hardman, you make technical stuff so easy to understand. You explain it so well that even I could understand it. When I did have some problems you were always so willing to go the extra mile and help me." "Thank you, thank you for what you have taught me. My financial future is suddenly so much brighter now. I just hope I can control my enthusiasm and stick with paper trading until I'm truly ready...like you preach." "What a great feeling! Turning the stock market into my own daily cash flow machine is the most exciting thing I've ever done. My wife can't believe it. She thinks a husband is supposed to get up and leave the house to go to his job. You didn't say anything in your book about how to help the wife cope with having me around all day." "If you charged $295 or even $2,959 it would be worth every penny of it! I really appreciate your helpful and friendly attitude when I needed extra help... and no glass ceiling just because I'm a woman." I knew Mel Hardman in the '60s when we worked together as radio announcers. I lost track of him for over 30 years while we both worked our careers to retirement age, Mel in broadcasting and film production, and I as a senior bank officer. In early 2006, I typed his name into Google search one evening and his web site about e-minis popped up. I ordered his book even though I had never heard of an "e-mini". My stock broker hadn't either. His book is the best course and most clearly presented that I have ever seen. I recently opened my trading account and trading e-minis has become the most exciting thing I've done in the past twenty years. The most rewarding effort I've undertaken in many years. I highly recommend his book. "I have known Mel since 1969. He is one of the most brilliant men I have ever met. A multi-talented guy that would leave you in awe! A computer wizard and film maker (producer, writer, director, cameraman, editor, and tremendous narrating voice). Our association began in the film business and evolved into a friendship that has included many hours of fishing together. Recently I reached retirement age and was looking for additional cash flow. Not just investing, but involvement. Mel turned me on to trading E-minis. Now, let me tell you: it can be, and yet it is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme. I have made many mistakes over the past year; to much emotion, impatience and inexperience. But, it has been an inexpensive education for me. With Mel's help and guidance I have turned into a conservative player, rather than an aggressive neophite. It is now both profitable and mentally rewarding. |
