James M. (Mel) Hardman is just an ordinary guy. Unlike most authors on the subject of the stock market, he has no vast experience on Wall Street, no great "secrets" he is revealing, no magic formulas or 'black box' he has discovered or invented that can make you an overnight success and filthy rich. He often says that he’s just an ole, wildlife photographer. Wildlife photography, fly fishing and his family are his great loves. He just happens to have discovered, like so many others, that the stock market can be a good source of income if one is willing to develop some expertise. In his regular vocation he has produced movies and TV shows, founded a multimedia production company, worked as a writer, journalist and network radio newscaster. He has 'dabbled' in stocks much of his adult life and actively traded stock options in recent years. When he was introduced to E-mini's he immediately saw a great vehicle for turning the stock market into a daily cash flow generator for himself. Shortly thereafter, his curiosity led him to investigate the E-mini in other markets, and eventually, the Foreign Exchange Currencies market. He now trade e-mini's in the S&P 500, the Russell 2000, mini-DOW and the MidCap 400 markets. In addition He is aggressively trading in the Forex market.

In early 2002, he formally closed his multimedia production business and 'retired' to devote his full time and attention to day trading the e-mini markets. He is a full-time trader (when he isn't off fishing at one of his favorite exotic spots somewhere in the world). Even then, he frequently gets up in the middle of the night to check on his trades in the Forex market. He shares his learning experiences with you in a manner that makes it as exciting as reading a good adventure novel, for an adventure is what it really is!
