Discovering the e-mini was one of those life-changing moments for me. Unfortunately, there are a lot of folks who are very skeptical about the stock market. Many have heard stories about how risky it is. It's true; It is risky, but then, aren't many things in life? I've gone all out, both here and in my book, to give you honest and factual information. I've tried to create a "road map" for you based on my experiences, that can offer a short-cut for you...on your way to becoming a successful trader. There's a lot of HYPE out there--- stock market seminars promising fabulous, easy wealth are advertised on TV frequently. They make it sound so easy! You may have noticed --and I hope you aren't disappointed, that there are no claims or "testimonials" on my web site (or in my book) like---"I made $13,000 on my first trade!" (You know the kind of hype I'm talking about.)

How to get started
1) Buy the book: it will take about 10 hours to read, ponder and absorb it; read it 3 or 4 times...until you're comfortable with it;
2) Review each trading system using the DVD, then contact each of the system vendors and sign up for their free trial period; practice with each until comfortable and you have a good feel;
3) Decide on the trading system of your choice, subscribe to both the system and the DATA stream it works on AND sign up for the FREE NinjaTrader ---your trade execution platform;
4) Practice (paper trade) for at least 3 months ....until you are totally comfortable with and can operate your charts and the NinjaTrader in your sleep! Then, select the brokerage where you want to set up your trading account; fund it....and, start trading for real. If you follow this pattern as it is layed out in your book, you will arrive at this point...not only full of excitement, but with a great amount of self-confidence. You will be READY...both mechanically and psychologically to enjoy what --to me--was the most exhilarating experience of my life! I think you'll find this to be so in your case, also.
